February 2017 Newsletter More #palisadefirsts (!!)We're knocking walls out in the basement to allow better storage for a local opera company who's been using our basement for storage.  We are almost finished with architectural and engineering work needed to design our residence, and we anticipate work to begin in March.  Stay tuned for more on that.  We're building out the alter in the former sanctuary to be a stage that is more than double the current size.  We need that stage to be finished because our favorite first so far is... (drum roll, please) our first Musical! See below for more details.   Clue: the Musical  A murder mystery based on the board game by Hasbro...but whodunnit?  And where? New Year, New Place! We're excited to announce several #palisadefirsts After purchasing the building December 19, 2016, we had the opportunity to premiere the Palisade Playhouse Community Choir! Click here to learn more: http://www.palisadeplayhouse.com/copy-of-community-choir We've also been busy with work in the building. You may have seen the scaffolding outside. There was significant damage to the attic and the sanctuary because pigeons were roosting in there for many years. The problem has been fixed, and the sanctuary is ready to be enjoyed again by all who enter. We've also been updating the social hall in the lower level of the building. Please consider us for your next birthday party, anniversary, or other event. We're charging $25 per hour, which is a steal of a deal for a large event space. Come check us out at Greenfield Elementary's Community Outreach and Student Academic Night on Thursday, January 19, 4:30-6:30!
